Busho Kai Competition Team
Busho Kai Members can supplement their present karate training by becoming a member of our Competition Team! Karate Tournaments can offer a positive learning experience and provide students with incentive and motivation to improve. With rules, safety equipment and a referee panel, tournaments provide a relatively safe environment in which karateka can test their skills, courage, focus and endurance.
Being a part of the team allows access to all of the Competition Team Practices.
- Practices will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30pm - 7:30pm
- Unless the dojo is closed or we cancel classes for a special event
- Our season is from January through July and September through November
- 10 months of training
- Times and dates of events are posted in the monthly newsletter
- Training will consist of Kata and Kumite
- The cost of this extra training is $400 per member
